Big Boppers World

In response to an email received from Max Kool  web master for Big Bopper Enterprises, I have been advised to put the following statement on this site. Big Boppers World is in no way associated with or doing business as  Big Bopper Enterprises, The Big Bopper (Jiles Perry Richardson) and J.P. Richardson (son of The Big Bopper).

Below  are the Emails I recieved from Max Kool  about my nick name Big Bopper.  I have used this name for 15 years.  People on the Golf Course, at work and on the net know me by this name.  They also know I'm not the singer "The Big Bopper" (Jiles Perry Richardson) or any part of his family.

The Richardson family has ask me to contact you and inform you that your website is in violation of copyright and
trademark policies. I have been instructed to ask you to Please change your current format. We appreciate that you want to keep the memories of The Big Bopper alive, but we cannot allow you to infringe on the rights of the Richardson Family. With this e-mail you have been given notice and we expect you to Please respond and change what you are doing in a very timely manner. Copies of this have been forwarded to :David Showalter (Houston attorney for the Richardson Family), Dave Disponett(Manager of Big Bopper Enterprises), and J.P. Richardson (son of The Big Bopper).
